The New Beginnings outreach at Christ Community works with local organizations to help women and children who are in need. Over the years we have:
- organized dinners for House of Hope in Clayton which serves at risk teenage girls and their families through education, counseling and life skills training,
- participated in fundraiser campaigns for iChoose Pregnancy Support Service in Clayton which provides counseling for women who are considering or who have had an abortion,
- provided towel bundles and organized dinners for Harbor, Inc. in Smithfield which offers shelter and support to victims of domestic violence,
- provided school supplies for children at local schools,
- provided baby bundles for needy pregnant women for Pitt County Health Clinic in Greenville and Southlight Methadone Clinic in Raleigh.
